• Is the fee for the whole loan, or is it quoted per each 100 dollars you borrow?
• Is the fee charged once, or each month on the money still owed?
• Is the interest rate quoted per month, or by the year.
• If you are late on a payment, what are the penalties?

Things to watch out for when getting an online loan

Before you get an online loan, remember and ask these questions:

1. If you do get short term loan - Pay the loan back as soon as you can.
2. The companies trying to get your name and other information, are likely making more money selling that 
3. information to others than they are making on the loan. Evidently, getting a short term loan online makes your name and address a highly sought after thing. So after applying, be ready to get blasted with all types of offers on the email and phone numbers you used.
4. Be honest on the application.
5. Make sure you are dealing with a real company.
6. Make sure if you are giving out your personal information, that the website is using https and you see the little lock on your browser -- not just on their website.
7. Do you really need the money?
8. How much is the loan costing you?
9. Would bankruptcy  be a better alternative?
10. Is part of the reason you need the money due to all the other loans you have? If so, then look at #9 again.
